JUSTIN DOAK, LEED AP
Founder & CEO
Ecoxera

As founder of Ecoxera, Justin Doak melds a passion for sustainability with keen business acumen to provide visionary leadership and leads the team in green communications.

A recognized thought leader in bringing sustainability to the retail environment, Justin formed Ecoxera after identifying an opportunity for brand, customer and bottom-line growth in the retail industry through the development of integrated, forward-thinking sustainability programs and compelling green storytelling. He assembled a team of experts, the Ecoxera collective, with experience diverse enough to address all areas of a retailer’s footprint along the entire supply chain, from manufacturer and supplier to retailer.

Justin began his professional journey at a public relations and brand development firm. His experience building brands and communication for prominent organizations taught him the value of storytelling and validation and served as the foundation for his work at the U.S. Green Building Council. There, Justin managed the technical development of LEED for Retail and collaborated with over 80 retail pilots and national developers working to become environmental stewards through the implementation of integrated green practices. Justin believes that by sharing in the experience of restoring the quality of our environment, retailers can validate corporate social responsibility, improve facility performance, and connect with customers on a new level of meaning.
