Changes to creative leadership at FITCH

International design consultancy FITCH recently made three significant internal promotions. Stuart Wood has been appointed as the new executive creative director for Europe and Russia, and two other FITCH senior creatives, Alasdair Lennox and David Roberts, have been appointed creative directors.


Darrell Keeling named manufacturing manager for Flakeboard

Flakeboard Company hired Darrell Keeling as manufacturing manager for the company's composite panels manufacturing business. Keeling will join Jake Elston and Mike Rosso as one of the three manufacturing managers with multiple mill and business leadership responsibilities for the company. He will be located at the company's Ruston, La., location.  Keeling previously served as composite manufacturing vice president for Roseburg Forest Products and, prior to that, had worked at two of Flakeboard's mills in Ruston, La., and Bennettsville, S.C.

Interbrand Design Forum hires Dave Nixon to lead digital practice

Bruce Dybvad, CEO of Interbrand Design Forum, has named Dave Nixon executive director, digital strategy. In this role Nixon will lead the growing digital practice for the retail design firm. As the leader of the company's digital practice, Nixon will be responsible for helping to find and fix the client’s pain points through the development of strategies that allow them to leverage technology within their business models, and help them execute those strategies to generate revenue, become more efficient, and increase their brand value.

Neumeyer joins Southern Imperial

Steve Neumeyer has joined Southern Imperial as director of operations, responsible for operations at the company's Rockford, Ill., facilities as well as managing director for the China facilities.

Moss names Morrison account executive and systems manager

Moss Inc. appointed Mike Morrison senior account executive and systems manager, serving the Southeast region of the U.S. and providing direction and support for the company's Moss Max line of products.

KYDEX names Martino western regional sales manager

KYDEX LLC, the U.S.-based manufacturer of proprietary KYDEX® thermoplastic sheet, announced the appointment of John Martino as Western Regional Sales Manager. Based in Sacramento, California, Martino will work closely with the Western Region’s manufacturer representative group, Pacific Polymer Group (PPG) in serving the needs of KYDEX customers.

KYDEX's McCormick earns ASQ Certified Quality Engineer certification

Yacobucci joins Stylmark as retail account manager for West Coast region

IMG names Brauer V.P. of Business Development

Marcus Pachul, president of IMG – Interior Manufacturing Group in Toronto, announced today that Eric Brauer has joined the company as vice president for business development. With 30 years of retail store design, construction, and fixturing experience, Brauer will oversee IMG’s marketing and sales efforts related to high-end wood and metal fixtures in the American marketplace. He will be located in the New York City area.

Christian Davies rejoins FITCH as executive creative director, Americas

FITCH has appointed British-born designer and brand strategist, Christian Davies, executive creative director of the agency. He was vice president and managing creative director at Cincinnati-based FRCH Design Worldwide. Trained as an interior designer, Davies began his career at FITCH, based out of London, working with a variety of clients across the U.S. and Europe for more than decade. He is now returning to FITCH to head up creative across the FITCH U.S. network.

Grand & Benedicts expands project management team with Arthur

Grand & Benedicts Store Fixtures, a Portland, Ore.-based global manufacturer of store fixtures, recently added Sarah Arthur to its project management team. With experience coordinating over 30 store openings for lucy activewear and 7 For All Mankind, Arthur brings a solid project management track record to the G&B team.

Corvo named managing director of ALU Inc.

ALU s.p.a. announced the appointment of Emanuele Corvo as the new managing director of Alu Inc. Corvo, who has more than 12 years of experience in the furnishing market, joined ALU Inc from Kartell U.S. Inc., where he was managing director. He will be based at ALU's offices in New York and will oversee all marketing and sales activities in North and Latin America.

Prime Retail Services Inc. announced that Susie Sellers Bruyere has joined the company as vice president of sales. Sellers will use her 15 years of sales experience in the retail construction industry to direct the national sales program at Prime. Over the last 15 years in the retail construction industry, Bruyere has continued to surpass goals and be nationally recognized as a leader. As vice president, she will develop and expand Prime's national growth and presence, as well as be more involved in Prime's progressive approach to LEED and sustainability.

Hera names Kaba as marketing coordinator

Hera Lighting LP has hired Jennifer Kaba as the company's new in-house marketing coordinator. Director of Sales Brad Stewart said, “We’re very pleased to have Jenna on board. Her talent will leverage our effort to educate the industry about how LEDs are transforming interior design.” Kaba's background is in visual communications and graphic design from AIU and she brings 10-plus years of marketing, graphic design, and account management experience to the position. She has worked for companies such as Bain & Co, Merrill Corporation, and Pfizer Inc.

Dybvad promoted to CEO of Interbrand Design Forum

Lee Carpenter, founder of Interbrand Design Forum, has appointed current President and COO Bruce Dybvad to CEO. Carpenter, who has served as CEO of Interbrand Design Forum since its founding in 1978, will now focus solely on his role as CEO of Interbrand North America, a position he s held since 2006. Dybvad joined Interbrand Design Forum in 1980 and was named president in 1998. He added the additional role of president of Interbrand Cincinnati in 2006.

Hera promotes Randy Gaines to national accounts manager

Hera Lighting LP has promoted Randy Gaines to National Accounts Manager for the company. Director of Sales Brad Stewart said, “One of Hera’s missions is to promote from within. We’re especially happy to promote Randy because he’s earned it with hard work and determination.” Gaines has been with Hera Lighting for six years. He started his career in inside sales for national accounts and was promoted to West Coast Sales Manager in 2005. He has eight years of experience in sales and sales management and is an expert in cabinet, furniture, and display lighting.

Delmac Machinery Group Inc. has named Eric Johnston North East Regional Sales Manager. Johnston joins the company with over 22 years of experience in the woodworking industry, with a vast knowledge of panel processing equipment, customer service, and system design.
