A bulb, also called a lamp, is referred to by one or two letters,
indicating the shape, followed by a number, indicating the diameter, in
eights of an inch. When you think of a “light bulb,” you probably think
of the A19 bulb in the top row, second from left. It is in the A
family shape and it has a diameter of 19/8 inch, or 2 3/8”. Another
common bulb is the BR30, a Bulge Reflector, which is 30/8 = 3 ¾” in
diameter. Some people separate the shape and number with a dash or a
space. EnvironmentalLights.com adopts the convention of using no dash or
space. What we call a PAR38, others may call a PAR-38 or PAR 38.

a panel made with horizontal grooves configured to accept a variety of merchandising accessories. Standard spacing of these grooves is 3” OC (on-center), but this spacing can be changed to accommodate merchandising density. Optional groove treatments include paint, plastic or aluminum inserts. Panels are typically made from MDF (medium density fiberboard) and meet the demands of store planners and merchandisers worldwide.
