Steve Neumeyer, president, Wind Mill Slatwall Products
Steven J. Neumeyer is President of Wind Mill Slatwall Products. He joined the company in 2003. Prior to joining Wind Mill, Neumeyer worked in operations and quality at Kohler Company and division management for several divisions at Vinyl Plastics, Inc. Neumeyer is a member of A.R.E.’s Board of Directors, and the Chair of the General Management committee. He holds a B.S. in Quality and Productivity Management from Marion College and an International M.B.A. from the University of Chicago.
Bruce Lubin, president, Illinois Commercial and Specialty Banking The PrivateBank
Bruce Lubin is Executive Managing Director and President of The PrivateBank’s Illinois Commercial and Specialty Banking and The PrivateWealth Groups. In these roles he oversees the teams delivering commercial banking services to Illinois-based companies as well as those providing wealth management and private banking to clients nationwide, including The PrivateWealth Financial Strategies Group and Lodestar, the Company’s investment management subsidiary. Lubin has over 30 years of experience in financial services and joined The PrivateBank in 2007. He most recently held the role of Executive Vice President and Head of Illinois Commercial Banking Group for LaSalle Bank, N.A., which consisted of 37 divisions. Prior to that, he was with The Exchange National Bank of Chicago.
Paul Pinkus, managing director, RSM McGladrey
Paul Pinkus is a managing director in the In-Store Marketing and Store Design Industry Group of RSM McGladrey. Under his guidance and leadership, the group provides the full range of consulting, tax, and accounting, and attest services to companies in this industry. He has assisted with strategic business planning, operational effectiveness enhancement, succession planning, and a wide range of financial planning and analysis processes. Pinkus plays an active role in numerous industry associations.
Klein Merriman, executive director, A.R.E.
Klein Merriman joined A.R.E., based in Hollywood, Fla., as executive director in 1995. Since that time the association has almost tripled in size while greatly increasing the number and scope of programs and services for members. In 2006, A.R.E. also began administering PAVE, the Planning and Visual Education Partnership, a 501(c)(3) educational foundation. Merriman has over two decades of experience in trade association management beginning in 1985, with additional management experience in both manufacturing and food service. He holds an M.B.A. from the University of Miami, and a B.A. from Dickinson College.
Dean Rubin, CEO, Rose Displays Ltd.
Dean Rubin is CEO of Rose Displays Ltd., a position he has held since 1998. The company provides signware systems and solutions to a wide variety of retailers, and, under Rubin’s tenure, has become a global company with an international distributor network. Rubin serves on A.R.E.’s General Management committee and chairs the Marketing committee and Retail Council.
Ken Ritterspach, CEO, Stylmark Inc.
Ken Ritterspach is president and CEO of Stylmark Inc., a position he has held since 2004. Stylmark is an employee-owned manufacturer of aluminum and steel components and finished fixtures for retail and other commercial environments. Ritterspach has more than 30 years of experience in both manufacturing and service businesses. He served as president of King Concept and U.S. Communications, vice president of Viking Electric Supply, and account manager and presenter for Franklin Covey.
Alan Harvill, CEO, EMI Industries
Alan Harvill is president and CEO of EMI Industries, a company he purchased in 1994. Subsequently, he has made three additional acquisitions in both the fixture and food service industries. Today EMI has locations in Tampa and Clearwater, Fla., Atlanta, and Providence, R.I., providing fixtures to the supermarket, convenience store, and restaurant industries. Before joining EMI, Harvill was vice president of corporate and commercial finance for a southeastern regional commercial bank.
Donald Bloom, CEO, Prime Retail Services
Donald Bloom is CEO of Prime Retail Services, a retail and fixture installation and merchandising company that serves both retailers and fixture manufacturers. He serves on A.R.E.’s General Management committee.
Bob Riley, vice president, DSA/Phototech
Bob Riley is president and CEO of DSA/Phototech. Prior to joining DSA/Phototech in 2004, Riley served in various capacities at Hamilton Fixture from 1995 to 2004, including senior vice president of the company’s Western Division and president and COO. Prior to joining Hamilton, Riley was vice president of operations for Westmark Products from 1993 to 1995, and served as general manager for Lunstead, a division of Haworth International from 1978 to 1993.

He holds an M.B.A. in finance and B.A. in business administration from the University of Washington. Riley currently serves on A.R.E.’s General Management and Membership Development committees and chairs the Green 100 task force. He has also served on A.R.E.’s board of directors in the past. As a member of the board of directors, he is particularly interested in helping the association evolve to meet the needs of an increasingly diverse membership.
