As the principal designer of projects from sustainable, highly efficient workplaces, dynamic retail experiences, and engaging public furniture installations, David leads his team in creating powerful design environments that effectively distinguish brands and define consumer experience. His gifted multidisciplinary design team offer services including interior retail concepts, architectural design, visual merchandising, brand environments, fixture and furniture design, graphic design and project management.
The built work that David has produced brings a lasting physical identity to the retail and brand experience. David's past projects include the design of the Museum of Sex (MoSex) in New York, the Volcom flagship store, and Atrium New York. As master planner and design architect of fashion trade show PROJECT GLOBAL, he produced a multitude of commercial environments; these installations and public lounges became the main stage for fashion retailers around the world to interact with cutting-edge brands. As a result, retailers look to Cleanroom for clues of trends to come. The firm is a thought leader in the industry, having

and retail branding projects.
David's diverse background as a visual artist, production designer for
film and music videos, and architect have honed his creative
instincts. He holds a Master of Architecture from Columbia University (GSAPP) and a Bachelor in Fine Arts from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design (NSCAD). He is a member of the American Institute of Architects and is a visiting critic at Columbia University and at Parsons The New School for Design.
