Seminar Overview

A.R.E.’s Manufacturing Seminar is the only educational event focused on manufacturing and production issues specifically for providers of store fixtures, visual presentations, and other retail environments products. From big-picture issues to real-world applications, this seminar addresses the needs of those responsible for manufacturing in their companies.

Pertinent Educational Programming

Two general sessions address topics common to companies in the retail environments industry. In addition, two concurrent lean tracks and three concurrent roundtables allow you to choose the type and level of information that best applies to you. Sessions cover issues pertinent to manufacturing professionals in the industry today:

implementing lean or continuing the lean journey
using Six Sigma principles to foster innovation
ensuring a skilled work force for tomorrow
mapping out single-piece flow
improving information systems
dealing with waste

Eye-Opening Plant Tours

In addition to the educational sessions, the seminar offers tours of area manufacturing plants. This year marks the seminar's first foray outside the United States. The location, in easily accessible Toronto, Ontario, Canada, gives you a rare chance to see inside technologically advanced manufacturing plants in the area.

Passports are required for non-Canadian residents (less stringent requirements may apply for those traveling by car). Please allow enough time for your passport application or renewal to be processed. For information on obtaining or renewing a U.S. passport, visit the U.S. Department of State web site.
