GHA Merges With Marco Retail Group

Oct. 31, 2007 — Retail design firm GHA shoppingscapes will be merging with Marco Retail Group to form GHA design studios. The merge is expected to be complete by the end of 2007, and offices will remain in Montreal and Detroit. Both office locations will be involved in large-scale development projects, shopping centers, supermarkets and specialty food retail, store concepts, and rollouts.

All principals, management, and design teams will remain intact. In Montreal, principals are Denis Gervais, Steve Sutton, and Frank Di Niro, and in Detroit, principals Nick Giammarco and Anna Giammarco with Julie Dugas as studio director.

GHA shoppingscapes specializes in retail store concept, design, branding, and retail environment programming and design, such as public seating, food courts, restaurants, wayfinding, and kiosks.
