Manufacturers (NASFM) will hold its 17th Costing & Estimating
Seminar, Dec. 8-10, 2002, at the Renaissance Orlando HotelAirport,
in Orlando, Fla. The seminar is particularly valuable for engineers,
estimators, project managers, purchasing managers, company owners,
and other upper-level managers in the store fixture manufacturing
industry. The costing and estimating seminar will address issues
such as:
- the elements of
estimating
- the mechanics
of estimating
- policy decisions
about estimating
- other business
considerations related to estimating
- closing the loop
between estimates and actual costs
- online and reverse
auctions

NASFM is an international, not-for-profit association representing
the store fixture manufacturing industry since 1956. The association's
membership includes more than 450 regular member companies operating
over 800 plants employing more than 75,000 people worldwide;
an additional 200 industry suppliers are associate members.
NASFM members manufacture an estimated 85 percent of all store
fixtures produced in North America. The typical NASFM member
employs 85 people, and generates revenues in excess of $10 million
per year.
