TECHNOLOGY COURSE IN HIGH DEMAND
Stiles
Education, in cooperation with its educational partner NASFM,
introduces a new course, "Innovative Veneering Techniques
& Processes," on September 24-25 in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Due to the high interest in this training, a second session
has been added September 27-28. These intensive training sessions
will feature all aspects of the veneering process including
veneer standards and grades; flitch selection; jointing and
splicing methods; waste reduction; and veneer sanding techniques.
Demonstrations will take place in Stiles Machinery's Advanced
Technology Center, and will highlight the latest in state-of-the-art
veneering equipment.
The
course is designed to assist NASFM member companies in making
knowledgeable decisions for the future direction of their veneering
operations. Experts will share valuable information on purchasing
veneer to meet store fixture specifications, recommended equipment
to best meet a NASFM shop's needs, and many tricks of the trade
in producing veneered panels from lay-up through sanded components.
NASFM members serious about their veneering operation cannot
afford to miss this class. Tuition is $495 per student for NAFSM
members and $695 for non-members.
