Hollywood,
FLEnter your store, vendor shop, or store fixture
in NASFMs Retail Design Awards 2003 Competition. Celebrating
its 32nd anniversary, the NASFM Retail Design Awards is the
most visible design competition of its kind, and the only one
that recognizes individual store fixture design and manufacturing.
Award winners receive coverage in a special supplement produced
by Display & Design Ideas, the Presenting Sponsor of NASFMs
Retail Design Awards, online coverage on www.nasfm.org, and
exposure in other leading trade press. Crystal awards and certificates
will be presented on March 16 during a reception following the
close of the first day of GlobalShop.
Entries may be submitted by retailers, designers, architects,
and store fixture manufacturers for projects completed between
Jan. 1 and Dec. 31, 2002. Projects are judged by a panel of
retail designers, visual merchandisers, and design editors.
Awards are based on excellence in design, originality in the
use of space and fixtures, and quality in executing the concept.
Top honors are awarded to one Fixture of the Year
and one Store of the Year. Grand prizes and outstanding
merits will be designated in each store or fixturing category.
Each entry is eligible for consideration in additional store
fixture categories for an additional $25.
Entries may be submitted for new or remodeled department stores,
shops, specialty stores, outlet stores, service retailers, convenience
or grocery stores, food retailers, restaurants, and foodservice
establishments. E-tailing/interactive sites, non-interactive
kiosks, individual fixtures, and fixtures that comprise the
entire store or an entire department will be considered in the
store fixture categories. Deadlines for entries are Dec. 16,
2002, (early bird); Jan. 15, 2003 (final).
