Announces 2002 Retail Advisory Council
Hollywood,
FL (November 6, 2001)The National Association of Store
Fixture Manufacturers has expanded its roster of 2002 Retail
Advisory Council members. Leading retailers and designers have
been invited to sit on the council to help guide NASFM's retail-focused
programs, such as the annual Retail Design Awards, NASFM's retail
web page, www.retailfix.com, the association's seminar track
and booth at GlobalShop, and all future retail-oriented services
and campaigns.

have been selected to sit on the Executive Committee of NASFM's
Retail Advisory Council. The Executive Committee fulfills all
of the responsibilities of the general council members, plus
they meet once a year to review NASFM programs in person and
serve as judges for the NASFM Retail Design Awards program.

NASFM
is an international, not-for-profit association representing
the store fixture manufacturing industry since 1956. The association's
membership includes more than 450 regular member companies operating
over 800 plants and employing more than 75,000 people worldwide;
an additional 200 industry suppliers are associate members.
NASFM members manufacture an estimated 85% of all store fixtures
produced in North America, and the 100 largest North American
store fixture manufacturers are NASFM members. The typical NASFM
member employs 85 people, and generates revenues in excess of
$10 million per year.
