2005 NASFM Retail Advisory Council Announced |
Hollywood,
Fla. (December 16, 2004)—The National Association
of Store Fixture Manufacturers has expanded its roster of
2005 Retail Advisory Council members to 45 advisors. Leading
retailers, designers, and architects have been invited to
sit on the council to help guide NASFM’s retail-focused
programs, such as the annual Retail Design Awards, NASFM’s
fixture buyer and specifiers web page, the association’s
seminar track and booth at GlobalShop, and future retail-oriented
services and campaigns.

individuals have been selected to sit on the Executive Committee
of NASFM’s Retail Advisory Council. The Executive Committee
fulfills all of the responsibilities of the general council
members, plus they meet once a year to review NASFM programs
and serve as judges for the NASFM Retail Design Awards program.

NASFM
is an international, not-for-profit association representing
the store fixture manufacturing industry since 1956. The
association's membership includes more than 400 regular
member companies operating over 800 plants and employing
more than 75,000 people worldwide; an additional 250 industry
suppliers are associate members. NASFM members manufacture
an estimated 85 percent of all store fixtures produced in
North America.
