April 6, 2006—Hollywood, Fla. The National Association of Store Fixture Manufacturers launched a new online tool to help retail fixture specifiers and purchasers easily find, select, and qualify fixture vendors.
The system is based on NASFM’s “Fixture Finder” search and allows retailers to request the new NASFM Standard Vendor Qualification Form from nearly 400 of the most experienced providers of store fixturing products and services in the industry. The standardized form can help retail fixture specifiers and purchasers to better qualify vendors by comparing like information.
Here’s how it works:
1. Retailers search for suppliers at www.nasfm.org using keywords, materials, geographical locations, production levels, or products and capabilities categories.
2. From the summary results of their searches, they can review detailed profile pages of individual companies, including information on the size of the company, products and services descriptions, technologies and materials used, and much more.
3. When a retailer locates a company they believe may meet their needs, they can, with one click, request a NASFM Standard Vendor Qualification Form from that company. The request is sent directly to the fixture company, together with any additional requests for information that the retailer has made. The fixture suppliers reply directly to the contact specified at the retailer’s organization.
More information for retailers, including a demo, is available at www.retailfix.com.
