PAVE to be Administered by NASFM

The executive board of the Planning and Visual Education Partnership (PAVE) has voted to contract with NASFM for administration services. PAVE is a 501(c)(3) educational foundation founded in 1992 to encourage students to study in the fields of retail design, retail planning, and visual merchandising. PAVE, through a network of dedicated industry volunteers, organizes seminars, workshops, an annual student design competition, and the organization’s annual fundraising gala. Proceeds benefit educational programs, and scholarships and internships for qualified students.

Upcoming PAVE events include Jay Valgora of Studio V Architecture speaking at a PAVE-sponsored session during StoreXpo in New York, Thursday, Dec. 7. PAVE’s annual fund-raising Gala will take place just prior to StoreXpo on Dec. 5, at the Essex House Hotel in New York City. Tickets can be purchased online at www.p-a-v-e.info. Sponsorship opportunities are also available, offering recognition before an audience of retail and design industry luminaries, students, and educators. For more information on any of these programs, contact Denise Rich at 954-893-7300, ext. 4835, or visit www.p-a-v-e.info.

PAVE’s executive officers include: Greg M. Gorman (Chairman), GMG Design, Inc.; Russell Richardson (Vice Chair), Richardson & Assoc.; and Richard Stolls (Treasurer), Trim Corp. of America. PAVE’s network of volunteers will continue to plan and coordinate projects and events; NASFM will provide supporting administrative services. PAVE’s headquarters will be located in Hollywood, Fla., together with NASFM’s offices.
