PAVE and GlobalShop Partnership Raises Over $10,000
Hollywood, Fla. (June 16, 2008)—The Planning and Visual Education Partnership (PAVE) and GlobalShop are pleased to announce that over $10,000 has been donated to PAVE as part of a five–year partnership between PAVE and GlobalShop. The agreement gives PAVE a presence during GlobalShop, while GlobalShop shows its support to the future of retail and design talent.
GlobalShop’s donation of $10,917 was raised from $1 per registration from GlobalShop 2008. The trade show will be recognized as the PAVE Gala GlobalShop Sponsor at the 12th Annual PAVE Gala on Dec. 10, 2008, at Gotham Hall in New York.
“PAVE is thrilled to be officially associated with GlobalShop, and is grateful for the opportunity to receive additional funding to help our students and their schools maintain a high level of education in the retail design arena,” said Richard Stolls, president, PAVE.
“As the nation’s leading retail design trade show, GlobalShop is proud to support the industry’s educational future through PAVE. GlobalShop and PAVE have worked together on a variety of efforts in the past, and our new pact takes our affiliation to the next level,” said Doug Hope, founder, GlobalShop.
PAVE is steadily increasing the dollars contributed to design students and design programs. “Dollars invested in today’s design students will keep tomorrow’s retail industry vibrant. We applaud GlobalShop’s commitment to our industry’s future,” said Klein Merriman, executive director, PAVE.
