Kleerdex Names Fazio Quality Manager
April 11, 2008 — Bloomsburg, Pa.-based Kleerdex Co. LLC, manufacturer of KYDEX® thermoplastic sheet, has named Jim Fazio quality manager. Fazio will be responsible for quality efforts related to products and processes, and will report directly to Kleerdex President Jim Medalie and Manufacturing Manager Eric Vitunac.
Fazio brings extensive experience with ISO standards and will oversee Kleerdex's ISO 9001:2000 quality management system. He also will lead the company's ISO 14001 environmental management system, raw material inspection process, and various process improvement initiatives.
Fazio holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and a master’s degree in business administration with a concentration in technology management. He has 16 years of experience in the quality field with Ford Motor Co. and other manufacturers.
