Moss Inc. appointed two senior executives to the company.
Vince Marler has been named to the newly created post of executive vice president, operations, for the company. Marler had served as Moss’ executive vice president and chief financial officer for about two years, a role in which he streamlined the company's finance and information technology functions. He was also instrumental in the acquisition and integration of the former Nichols Co., based in Salt Lake City.
Prior to joining Moss, Marler was corporate senior vice president-central operations for Exhibitgroup/Giltspur. In this position he directed the company-wide operations and manufacturing functions including production, estimating, logistics, and workflow improvements.
Charlie Corsentino, chairman, president, and CEO of Moss, said, “With the aggressive growth plans Moss is expecting to implement over the next several years, Mr. Marler will most definitely provide excellent operations leadership and he will add value to the entire team with his knowledge and business acumen.”
Marler holds a bachelor of science degree in accounting from Indiana University. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Illinois CPA Society.
Mark Ollinger has joined the company as executive vice president and chief financial officer. For the last eight years, Ollinger served as CFO of K&K Screw Products LLC in Carol Stream, Ill., a $64 million firm owned by a private equity fund. He was responsible for overhauling financial control and reporting systems, resulting in significantly improved earnings. Prior to that, he served for 10 years as vice president-corporate controller for Exhibitgroup/Giltspur, a $457 million company.
Corsentino said, “Mark brings to Moss a wealth of financial leadership and knowledge, as well as extensive experience in the trade show industry. I am very confident that he will add value to Moss and help bring our company to a higher level within our served markets.”
Ollinger holds a bachelor of business administration and a minor degree in economics from the University of Wisconsin with Summa Cum Laude honors. He also has a Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from De Paul University. Additionally, he is a Certified Public Accountant and the recipient of the Elijah Watt Sells Award.
Ollinger will be located at Moss' corporate office in Chicago.
