With sustainability experience in interior and product design, materials specification, manufacturing processes, transportation, and life cycle issues, Lisa Russell is A.R.E.’s manager of sustainability. A practicing interior design professional for 14 years, she has infused sustainable principles and strategies into retail design, including more than 200 Harley-Davidson retail dealership facilities. Russell is a USGBC LEED for Retail Core Committee member and part of the USGBC Education Provider Program. She is the author of A.R.E.'s Sustainable Retail Environments: Product Guidelines and Operational Best Practices.

Bob Johnson

Bob Johnson is part of Harbor Industries’ Green Team, formed in early 2006 to help the family-owned company implement sustainable business practices. New plant strategies have saved energy and waste, environmentally friendly materials are being used, and the firm is involved in local sustainability efforts and employee education. The team continues to explore ways to implement sustainable design and to research alternative materials for its fixture products. Johnson has spent 19 of his 28 years of design experience at Harbor and is a member of Industrial Designers Society of America.
